A story of unprecedented greatness.
INDIA HAS YET SCRIPTED GOLDEN HISTORY WITH PRIDE AND A QUEST TO EXPLORE THE IMPOSSIBLE.
"CHANDRAYAAN 2 - NOT A COMPLETE FAILURE BUT AN INCOMPLETE SUCCESS."
CARRYING A BILLION DREAMS TO MOON.
Rarely comes such a moment in history when 1.25 billion people are awake at 1am in unison and anticipation as they desperately wait for the symbol of their pride and honour - CHANDRAYAAN 2 to land on the south pole of the moon's surface. India was accelerating well and all set to achieve this unprecedented feat and end the west world hegemony in space research.
But unfortunately destiny did not bear with our dreams and expectations and it yet wanted some scientific quests to remain unexplored. Just when we were 2.1 kilometres away from the glory, ISRO lost communication with the Vikram lander and the disappointment and anxiety was visible on the brightest minds of our nation- The great scientists of ISRO,the architects of this ambitious mission.
More disheartening was to see tears in the eyes of the director of ISRO, K.Sivan fondly known as ''Rocket man of India"
"SCIENCE NEVER FAILS YOU, EITHER YOU LEARN OR YOU WIN"
What milestones ISRO has achieved so far and this time through CHANDRAYAAN 2 are worth applauding. Evidence of traces of water on the moon were given by ISRO to the world and this brought about a new revolution in space research by directing it towards a whole new direction. The entire world looked upto us with great reverence and awe after MANGALYAAN and when ISRO launched 100 satellites simultaneously under Mission Shakti.
The nation is confident that the dedication, scientific curiousity and patience of our scientists would certainly bear fruit soon.
INDIA SALUTES K. SIVAN AND HIS TEAM.
PAUCITY OF WORDS TO EXPRESS the greatness of ISRO.
CHANDRAYAAN 2 has ignited a fire and inspired a whole new generation to contribute to the field of science. A mission like CHANDRAYAAN still remains a far fetched dream for many nations but it was almost converted into an incredible reality by the incredible ISRO of incredible INDIA.
PROUD OF ISRO.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
